Hello [Recipient First Name],
Hello, dear homeschooling friends! Happy Autumn! I pray the turn of season finds you and your homeschooling family blessedly seeking our dear Lord and Savior and quietly going about the daily work to which He has called you. The Lord's calling for our lives (especially as mothers) may not look exciting to the eyes of those outside of our own home, but we have plenty of drama and excitement each day, for us to treasure up in our own hearts, as Mary did two millenia ago. The Lord has called, and the Lord sees. Let Him be your audience, and your reward, as you quietly fulfill your calling each day.
This summer, after much agonizing in prayer over some concerns, I learned some things about mathematics instruction that were an absolute revelation to me! And every one of my homeschool students, even the one who used to find math difficult, completely agrees!! I'm shocked that I could not find this information anywhere else in the "homsechool world", so I put together everything I'd learned in an article for the upcoming Logic of Love: Understanding 1 guide, and my husband and I just got it published on the website for all to enjoy!
Speaking of which... Yes, the three-year thoroughly Christian, thoroughly classical Understanding course is on the way!!! We hope to have guides for Understanding 1 and Understanding 2 available by the end of the year—but keep us in prayer, because with a husband and ten children who come first, we dare not set firm delivery dates. We'll fill you in with more details as things move along.
Finally, there is another Homeschool Summit coming up, Oct. 16-21! You know that I love these Summits; they always pick excellent speakers and keep the focus on leading our children to the Lord—which is true homeschooling success. Don't forget to sign up to attend for free, or purchase all of the talks to keep forever for a small fee. And look for Grammar of Grace in the Swag Bag!! You know we love to be a part of this excellent event!

Grace & peace to you,
